    Bentley Continental Flying SpurThe Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a sedan produced by Bentley . Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005, it has been in production since September 2005. It has replaced the numerous old Bentley Eight models based on the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit / Bentley Mulsanne platform.

    This is the first Bentley sedan made independently by the English house, since it became part of the Volkswagen Group.

    Technical characteristics

    It uses the Volkswagen D3 platform, also used by the Audi A8 and Volkswagen Phaeton. The engine is a 6- liter, W12- cylinder at 72º (two banks at 90º, each with cylinders at 15º V ), supercharged by two turbochargers, it delivers a power of 560 HP at 6100 rpm, and an engine torque of 650 Nm at 1600 rpm. The traction is integral, the change to six relationships isautomatic with electronic control, with possible sequential manual use. Top speed 312 km / h and acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 5.2 seconds . Luggage compartment 475 dm³, tank capacity 90 liters. Consumption: urban (26.4 liters / 100 km ), extra-urban (12.7 liters / 100 km), mixed (17.7 liters / 100 km). CO 2 emission (mixed): 423 g / km.
