About H Series Range of Engines

The H series of Honda was a family of high-performance engines produced between 1990 and 2000. It is a derivative of more significant displacement of the F series with which it shares many similarities, and some parts, namely F20B is a version of reduced displacement of the H22A with which it shares design (It was developed in this way to participate in championships limited to 2000 cc of displacement). Like other 4-cylinder Honda engines of the 1980s and 1990s, it was replaced by the K-series. It has had some success used in competition, being the choice to compete in Touring Car Racing for many years and also installed on lighter chassis (such as the Honda CR-X ) used in drag racing. The H series is divided into two blocks with different displacements: H22 (2.2L) and H23 (2.3L). Both use the same league but other connecting rods, pistons, and crankshaft to modify the removal.
