Porsche 911 2.7 Liter Long Block Engine Rebuilt 1974-77 engine designation 911/85 from a 1977 911 car with 51K original miles. The motor on this car had sat for over 20 years and was rebuilt from being stuck from sitting with one piston and cylinder having the piston rings rusted to the cylinder wall and the motor would not turn. The actual car the motor came out of and milage are pictured. The engine case on this engine has been properly time-serted at the machine shop to resolve the soft magnesium case problem which is common on the 2.7 engines resulting in pulled head studs pulling the threads out of the block. This engine long block will fit all 2.7 liter cars 1974-77 and retrofit 1965-73 cars by adding carbs. Parts replaced in the rebuild are as follows starting in the middle: Glyco Standard/Standard main, rod, and intermediate shaft Bearings, Iwis Timing Chains, Timing chain rails, One Piston and Cylinder Group 6, Goetze Piston ring set, Oil return tube set, 930 105 058 03 latest type chain tensioners with tensioner savers, Valve guides as needed (only a few needed replacement at 51K miles), engine gasket set, spark plugs. The engine block was properly machined and fitted with time serts on all head studs. To install this motor you will install your working fuel injection, engine tin and exhaust and clutch of your choice. Flywheel (not pictured) will be installed. We will provide a one year parts only warranty. Shipping will be by truck and the motor will be crated with shipping rates of around $200 to the East Coast and $300 to the West Coast.
